The beliefs that guide us.

  • Civic initiatives, pro-bono work, and other involvement keep us building on the longstanding trust and relationships we have with our communities - the people, places and world around us.

  • Open dialogue and respect are vital to our process - this practice of listening is how we understand the uniqueness of each client’s vision so we can bring it to life.

  • We value the integrity of renewable materials and efficiently engineered systems. Knowing our work will outlive us, we also think bigger, asking ourselves how structures can intelligently evolve with time, innovation, and shifting landscapes, both natural and constructed. How can we design and engineer buildings to help non-profits and businesses thrive for generations?

  • We believe in taking risks and pushing boundaries together - exploration is an essential part of our creative process and our cultural DNA. We balance this with level-headed pragmatism.

  • No matter the size of the project, we set a consistent standard of excellence. We’re steadfast in our commitment to our ethos and quality for our clients - the way we see it, there’s no other way to do this work.

Peggy Gilday

*A Tribute to 30 Years of Dedication and Creativity*

Peggy, a founding force behind GYDE's journey, has retired after three decades of transformative leadership.  Her indelible imprint on our community is evident through her contributions at GYDE and her earlier endeavors. Among her standout achievements are the renovation and expansion of the Teton County Library, the comprehensive master plan and infrastructural developments at R Park, and the design of various affordable housing projects like Sage Meadows in Wilson, Melody Ranch, and the Millward Redevelopment. Additionally, Peggy played a foundational role with Fine Dining, conceptualizing the inaugural vision for Rendezvous Bistro and the subsequent Fine Dining restaurant spaces to follow. Throughout her career, her architectural designs have consistently prioritized community enrichment, leaving an enduring positive impact on our community.

Peggy's contributions to GYDE have been immeasurable. Her founding role and unwavering dedication have propelled the firm to be a leader in the community. As Peggy embraces a new chapter, her legacy remains woven into the essence of GYDE, guiding us toward an inspired and promising future. "While Peggy may be moving on from her day-to-day responsibilities, her legacy will forever be etched into GYDE's story," noted co-founder Nona Yehia, acknowledging Peggy's enduring impact.
