John Stennis

ASSOCIATE

“It's true that great clients make great projects on a number of levels. My favorite part of the design process is at the very beginning where we start to put pencil to paper on a clients ideas. Part of the reason for becoming an architect was to leave my mark on a long legacy of design and hopefully impart something meaningful to it and our clients who inhabit those buildings.”

John brings a unique perspective to the office having spent a great deal of time in the Jackson area with family who has lived here since 1970. A devoted community member, he has served on the Town of Jackson Planning and Zoning Commission and is currently a member of the Jackson Hole Land Trust’s Open Space Council. John’s contributions to the GYDE portfolio since joining in 2006 include The Teton County Library Addition & Renovation, many of GYDE’s restaurant projects, and affordable housing.
