Position: Project Manager
Purpose: Assist in the programming, design and production of Revit drafting. Take ownership of project file maintenance, research, and general support of project staff. This position works closely with the Project Architect as well as Designers I/II. As experience and skills are mastered so does the balance of design and management duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Interact with clients and represent GYDE in a professional manner.

Produce design and Revit documents for senior staff review

Travel (light amount) to project sites, for observation, site analysis, documentation, and learning opportunities.

Prepare design presentation documents under the supervision of a senior staff member.

Assist in researching, organizing, and coordinating information.

Know project’s work scope, task budgets, and produce quality work within these constraints.

Work collaboratively and communicate effectively and proactively with peers, employees, and management.

Provide other duties as necessary to support the success of the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
-
Minimum three (3) years of experience
-
Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends
LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION:
Required:
-
Architectural license with ability to receive Wyoming license.

Valid Wyoming driver’s license
-
Ability to drive a vehicle for company business and comply with Motor Vehicle Policy
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILL:
-
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-up. Enscape, Rhino or other rendering tools are a bonus

Proficiency with MS Office

Proficiency with at least one other design software (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.)

Ability to analyze multiple complex problems and implement technical and creative solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills

Ability to work in a team

Strong organizational skills and graphic ability

Understanding of basic construction methodology

Ability to create construction details

Knowledge of technical specifications and general conditions

Understanding of construction costs, building systems, and construction sequencing

Ability to develop a complete set of construction documents

Ability to nurture existing client relationships to encourage return clients

Ability to lead and mentor staff

Excellent customer/client service skills and multi-tasking ability
