“My favorite part of the design process is when you are able to identify what is truly important to a client. I became an architect because I wanted to use creativity to analyze and solve problems in the most beautiful way I could. Over the past few years I have been fortunate enough to travel to many places including Paris, France, as well as Bali, Indonesia. It's very powerful to stand in a building that was designed and built to last 500 years instead of 50.”
Abby’s passion for travel and design inform her work for GYDE. Since joining in 2010, her sense of adventure and expansive creativity have contributed to a number of successful projects that have broken the mold of typical Jackson design, including new restaurants Persephone, Picnic, and Orsetto; and Stio’s Mountain Studio retail space.
